Testing Omaru Creek for -smell

I am going to find out:What the water  smells like

I am going to test this by:get 4 different samples

Resources and equipment:4 different samples 2 buckets 4 jars 1 string

I predict that:the bridge: will smell funky dead fish

the culvert will smell like musty tar

the sea will smell like salt

the tap will smell like fresh water

I think this because:

theres tar and chemicals near the culvert

the bridge has tadpoles

the sea has salt in it

the tap has a filter

My conclusion (what I found out):

the culvert is not very funky at all

the bridge is more cleaner than the culvert

Why I think this is:

people working on the road

when things went missing

In 1998 in a dark town peoples words started to disappear. Because  aliens wanted to speak english.. They turned invisible and to went to a young boy to start their unthinkable  devise sucked lot of his words out of his head . They started stealy his words in his sleep they took his name from him because they wanted to speak english they took too much to understand what to say.  But they didn’t give up they got more aliens to take all of his words  from his  mind. They succeed  but only once so they look for more and more words to say. But too much leads trouble. They did not know that their own kind might want some words.

They looked for english words so they can speak to humans. But they kept on going  and going. One day only one person could speak english so the aliens turned invisible and went out to hunt  him down. he was scared so he hide from the aliens they pretend to humans. So he can come out of his hiding place so they can start to suck his words from his head.they couldn’t  trick him so they looked more for him finally they  found him and took his words  from his head.

they thought there were no more humans that cloud speak at all but they  flew around in their invisible car. They sor some people speaking in a different language. So they sucked their words from some of those people to. They kept on going and going finally they were up to last person in the world. Some of the aliens went out to hunt and stayed back to keep guard so some of the aliens can plan. They had super good plan  that they should just fly and shot roofs off and look. one of the aliens finally found him and stole his words and didnt

I predict that:

the omaru creek culvert water is dark green

tap water clear

omaru creek bridge is multicolour

sea clear

I think this because:

i think the sea water is clear because there’s a big space to spread

tap water is clean because there’s a cleaner to clean the tap water

omaru creek is dark green cause theres rubish

omaru creek culvet and it has rubish

My conclusion (what I found out):

The seawater is very clean from the mangroves and all of the space .  The culvert water is dirtier than the bridge water.

Why I think this is:

because the rubbish from the road go’s in the creek

Equal Addition

Kris Mangere Pools

On friday we went to Mangere pools. we cleaned up our tents before we could go. We went on a bus  and it was fun. I sat next to Bailly and my niece . We had some chips but we weren't allowed to eat in the bus . I just went  for a little sleep and didn’t know when we were at Mangere pools. When I got up we were at Mangere pools.

I hopped into my line and waited to go inside of the pools. The teachers picked some boys to  help them bring gazebo we help them. When we got inside of pools we said some hilarious jokes . Some teachers and boys set up the gazebo they took a long time to do it . Then some of the kids were having a race the rest of the kids cheered for their favorite racer . The kids came out so  we can have a little snack .

While we were eating Mrs garden picked some groups to go get changed we got changed . We ran into the pool . We all did a big bomb and played with our friends. Then the slide and a deep pool opened up everyone ran up and went on a slide but not me and my friends we went in the deep pool. We were waiting for the bombing pools and a steep water  slide it was so scary it felt like the water slapped right in the face.

It was a great end to my first Pt England camp.

Camp roller skating 

This is a great big picture of me at my school camp. As you can see i'm roller skating trying to wait for my ping pong turn. I'm a great fan of ping pong. I'm big fan of roller skating too. My friends were playing the game of ping pong first. My Favorite  part was when i slipped on my bum .
